Doing A Lot with A Little: Economic Analysis in Public Health

This self-paced, online course will discuss economic analysis in public health. Data needed to complete a cost-benefit analysis will be outlined and participants will be taken through the process of completing a cost-benefit analysis.

Learning Outcome

As a result of this activity the learner will enhance their knowledge and competence on how to conduct a cost-benefit analysis for public health.

At the end of this course you will be able to:

  1. Describe the purpose of an economic analysis.
  2. Define the purpose of a cost-benefit analysis (CBA).
  3. Outline the data needed to create a cost-benefit analysis (CBA).
